I was in the Royal Canadian Navy until 1976/77 there about for 13 years.
And I was on about 6 different HMCS ships and 6 Canadian Armed Forces bases during that time.

Two Swabby's, and a Grunt,,,Gee, I would of thought a couple more people here would of spent some time in uniform.
Bob, were you in a PBR, or a Swift?, that must of been quite the experience, I would of loved to have a chance to squeeze the trigger on one of those forward 50's on a PBR,. Anyway's,we'll have to trade stories one of these day's,,take care, Andy.

Nothing better than the smell of a 50 Cal in the morning. They are a very devastating gun.The damage when it hits is indescribable, though I don't talk about it to much it still bothers me a little.
There was some bad sh!t going on over there.
I always wanted to get behind one of those mini guns. They have to be the baddest gun ever..
I tryed to talk my Chief into mounting one on our boat. The ammo and batteries would have made it heavy and slow.We used to fly thru 6" of water, brass flying everywhere.Seen a couple of guys get the hot casings down there shirt.Burn baby Burn

Have a good weekend
