There was mention of that somewhere around here recently- it was Compasseco that had this kit- but it was discontinued sometime earlier this year- no reasons were given, just -gone-.
There will be an option in another few weeks for a craftsman/artisan-built conversion (basically a chrome moly tube, high-end hand bluing, end cap and cap cover)- but it's only available from a Canadian vendor and is a bit shy of $200.00 plus any applicable freight/taxes. |

I suggest contacting Stephen Archer directly; e-mail is convenient and he always answers quickly. Just go to the site and contact him through there. If a kit is available, he can probably tell you. |

last time i saw one was on Compasseco. it was going for $149.00.
dang...you can purchase two new QB78's for what one conversion kits costs. that's probably why they're getting hard to find.
i pumped up my QB78 to 1800 psi HPA, just for one time...got nearly 900 fps from the .22 for ONE shot...pressure dropped like a rock after every shot...much too small of an air tank for HPA. |

That depends on how greedy you are for power.... I have a 2260 based Carbine on 2000 psi HPA that gives me 16 shots at 20 FPE within a 5% range of velocity.... That's enough for a whole day of Grouse hunting with a limit of 5 birds unless you miss a LOT....
