As the weather is getting nicer and I can stretch out my ranges I decided to build a new mobile target board backstop.
It has clips at the top to hold stiff targets and boxboard backing and a movable bar at the bottom to hold down larger paper targets (specifically the fortnight)
It's a simple three legged design to accomodate the uneven terrain around my house.
The front legs are wedged so the target remains vertical when the legs are angled and the rear leg fits into a simple stop block.
It's filled with 12 pds of ductseal (5.5kg)
Yes I decided to break it in with a nice single malt backer
I've been anxiously waiting to test it out at distance but of course the wind has been howling for a week.
Today, there is absolutely no wind...and it's snowing grrrrr

A very professional job there SMP, it’s always the same when you want to try something, you get held up for days waiting for the weather to change.
Like the very “organised” work shop, it reminds me of mine.

Good grief, The shop looks like a shop grenade went off and there was 200% collateral damage
We put a big push on some renos to get them done for an energy audit and the shop paid the price. |
