Hello everyone and thanks for a great forum.
I am new here but I have been reading the interesting posts for quite some time. I've been having a lot of fun tweeking a Phantom. It shoots well but the stock sights leave a lot to be desired, especially for the over 40 something eyeballs. I would like to convert it to aperture/peep rear and globe front.
Has anyone ever done this to any of the variants and if so any suggestions on a particular sight that works well on this breach.
I'm assuming I will have to machine a 3/8 dovetail into the barrel for the front globe.

Could just be me, but my 40+ eyeballs appreciate a nice scope that can be focused just right.
I have a G1 Extreme, which came with a scope, and just love shooting it. |

Yes I know putting a scope on would be fast, effective and cheap. But that's not what I'm interested in.  |

I have a Quest, which is pretty much the same rifle. I don't have an answer for you, but I've wondered the same thing.

| I have a storm XT which is a wood stocked and scoped version of the same rifle. It is about the same as far as sights dept. I just went with the scope because I have eye problems due to diabetes. I would be interested in some iron sights for my son when he gets old enough to shoot. |

| I would think you should be able to make the target sights from a ar2078 fit without much trouble. You can get them from Archer. |
