i know lots of you guys have more than one gun ....
but if you had to choose one that could perform everything you
needed(plinking,hunting...ect.) a gun that if it was the only one you had you would
be happy with it, what would it be?
mine would have to be.....my 2240 i hve s stock and pistol grips made so its versatile that way.... and a power adjuster so i can have higher velositys for hunting and weaker for shotin pop cans and stuff. |

| I have yet to find one single gun I think is great for everything. It may not be a gun's "fault" for this- as each propulsion method has its ups and downs- i.e. Co² vs. PCP vs. spring. I think I just like different things for different purposes and times (of the year even) so I haven't picked a "favorite". Maybe one day I'll buy something and find out it's the "one" gun for me... |

I would say Gunpower SSS but seems as I don't own one (yet) I will definitely have to say my QB78 .22 for now, Would be nice to modify it to a PCP too as the cold is really starting to get to the CO2 now!

Well at the moment everything is pointing to getting an FAC, So I think I'm going to have to give up being a "Lone wolf" in the field and get down to the local firing range and apply for an FAC, I'm pretty sure that modifying the QB78 with a standard Paintballing tank unregulated would push the output of the QB78 well above the FAC limit, So if I were to use the Paintball tank option I would have to use a regulator in the setup as well, Only other problem being is that I don't like the look of having a big Paintball tank hanging off the front of the Rifle, Though if I were to get the QB79 I wouldn't mind as much as long as I used a Bi-pod. So i think if I do convert my QB78 to PCP the only option left would be to order the PCP conversion Endcap for it and buy a pump to go with it.

How about TX200? If I have to choose the one and only one airgun, I'll stay with springers because all you need is a gun and a box of pellets. |

That seems to be the best overall choice for practicality- you're only beat once you run out of ammo (then maybe spitballs would work- anyone ever try this?).  |
