Well, a long time has passed and completely forgot about this thread and I am happy to have found it.
To review about the rifle, have kept it in storage for more than a year, took it out and proceeded to apply some oil inside the chamber and a little on the barrel. Once again the rifle was back in business, shooting well, very accurate. Finally was able to fix the scope mounts by using larger bolts and nuts in which I had to open up the holes in the scope mounts to make them fit. The scope does not go anywhere now and is respectably consistent for such an entry level youth rifle.
Its a nice little rifle that with a little bit of tuning will perform within its limits. I love it, its distinctive trigger pull almost carbine size makes it a rifle of its own and not close to anything else I have had. |
