I forgot to ask how does the barrel come off of the 1377?

Thanks in advance

First, loosen the screw on the front of the barrel where it clamps to the main tube.... I don't think you have to remove the plastic end plug, the barrel will slide out the back once you remove the breech....

There are two screws holding on the breech.... one at the back where the rear sight mounts.... and another under the bolt.... The back one is easy, the one under the bolt requires a tiny (0.050") allen key to remove.... It is easy to strip the hex hole, so PRESS down hard on the breech before loosening the screw.... That compresses the transfer port seal and makes it easier to get the screw out....

Under the breech there is a small metal sleeve (transfer port) which will fall out so make sure you don't lose that.... under the transfer port, likely stuck in the hole in the top of the main tube, is a rubber seal for the transfer port.... make sure you don't lose that either.... The barrel then slides out of the breech.... When you got to replace the barrel, the long end of the transfer port goes UP into the hole in the barrel....

Bob

Pictures always help me in projects like this.

Packrat shared this link in another thread. It might be helpful.
