I let my Benjamin Blue Streak in .22 set for a couple of months and now it will not hold any air. When I pump it the air escapes out the end of the barrel. I am a total idiot when it comes to this gun, and only now after doing some research realize that I should have let it set with one pump of air in it. Anyhow, how can i fix this problem? I would appreciate any help from guys who know their way around this gun.
Thanks. |

Valve seal is probably warped from sitting. Would need to be replaced.
Could also be the valve and/or hammer spring broken (probably not).
Try to cock it, then pump. |

It is internal to the valve- so your only answer is to remove it and see what's going on- probably a piece of crap holding the plunger open- although Frtiz's idea of a broken spring is also a good possibility. |

Thanks for the reply's. The hammer spring is not broken, so it must be the exhaust valve. How do you take it apart to check that? |

I meant valve seal, not exhaust valve. Cheez! |
