Here are some pictures as to what was broken.
Now just need time to make a replacement.

Original is made from stamped steel. Which is not good as any cracks in
bended areas will result in parts failing.

Hey there,,I just wanted to say that all the work you did transforming the gun into a real nice shooter is fantastic,,There's alot of good info there, and internally the gun look's almost exactly like my B2-2A, and my Gamo Recon too for that matter, I wanted to ask though,,Did the cocking arm break because of the added pressure from the spring change you did??,The reason I ask, is that I've been wanting to change the spring in my Recon, but I was wondering if it could take the added pressure, currently I believe it's 18 pds cocking effort, and a new spring may bring that up to say,,25pds?, or so,,Anyway's I'll probably start a thread on the subject when i'm ready to do it, and post pic's as well,, Once again, Great Job,,Cheer's, Andy.

When I took apart my 1041 the cocking arm had un-even sized feet.
The smaller of the two showing wear after 200 shots.
A combination of poor part forming and cocking slot burr ?
The rest of the rifle is quite solid. Decent fit and finish.
I hacksawed this out of electrical conduit to compress the spring 5/8".
The pins slip out, the trigger block slides forward and lifts out.
Don't forget the scope stop screw, maybe thats what was holding Pedro's
spring back while he got his jig in place ?

I sure hope someone with Pedro's machining talent and offcut availability
decides to make some parts available Smile
