Decided they are not the ammo for my genesis. Hard to load. wanna get cocked in bbl when trying to load them by hand or with my little pencil type loader.
Probably why I can't get my gun zeroed in. Gonna try some 7.4g regular crosman points an see if that makes any diff.
Read someplace else on here about the premier super pts being hard to load also. An here I thought it was just me or my gun... Learn alot here just by spending a little time reading on each area of the forum...
Thanx,
Ronnie |

You might get on better with a dome head pellet as reguarding loading, something like a Superdome? also the flight Characteristics will be better.

The only pellet my Genesis would shoot
are Crosman Accupels...
mine was a picky little bugger...
I won't/don't use anything but domes in any gun..
JSB & H&N usealy shoot good in most guns.. |

Aren't you the one in another thread that said the domed ultra mags there was/are called accupels?
Anyhow, what weight are you using? Mine are 10.5g
Thanx,

Accupels are around 7.5/7.9g....they don't seem to be in the US
under the accupel name anyway...will most lightly be one of the
Premier versions over there...
I have seen them as Webley Accupels as well...

Put a few hundred pellets through the rifle to break it in.
10.5gr is a "heavy" pellet in .177 cal, the regular Crosman .177s are 7.9gr. |

The smallest quanity that pryamid has is a $23 box of 1250. Can't find an tins of'em on there.
I do have a new tin of Premier 7.9 hollow points an they are dome shaped. Would they work for the time being?
Thanx,
Ronnie....
P.S. Hate to bug everybody, but I'm new at this. Sorry Fellas |

If it's a new gun, it will take a few (or many) hundreds of rounds to break it in before it performs consistently.
Every gun will have a pellet preference. Some will be really picky, while others will shoot several kinds of pellets well. You just have to experiment.
I shoot the Crosman 10.5 grain Ultramags (same as Cabela's Ultramags) in my G1 at 100 yards. The Premier HP's work well in my Marksman 2004 pistol, but not in my other guns. My Slavia 631 likes Superdomes outdoors and Meisterkugelns indoors. You just have to experiment. |
