Put a phase 1/2 2 piece hammer into a current production 13-77 to see what's up.
Pistol already has a flat top piston mod. Pump handle is off a 13-89. 22-40 grips, and a tasco 30-22 red dot.
Good news first. This hammer is good for a 40-50 fps boost over the current hammer and stock spring.
The bad news is that the heavy weight hammer spring, and hammer face design increase trigger pull weight considerably.
I like the separation of cocking and loading. This is giving me ideas for modifying a current hammer into something similar to the old phase 1/ phase 2 hammer....
