Under lever, side lever or standard break barrel?

Other than picking up a RedRyder and cocking it with the under lever so you can pretend to be some 19th century Cowboy- who uses lever-cocked guns and what is the prevailing opinion of their advantages/disadvantages versus a regular break barrel?

The underlever provides more stability. Break barrels are more loosely attached.

Sure- the pivots on break barrels loosen up after awhile causing barrel sag, crooked cocking stroke, etc.

I guess my question is more "why do you ['you' generically] prefer one vs. the other"?

i prefer standard break barrels for the simple fact that they are alot simpler to work on but with an underlever or side lever ag the barrel is fixed so lock up isnt a problem
