Either air, or cartridge?

I always found Webleys interesting!

I collect Webleys I bought this one in the late 1950s, and I am looking for another one at the same price, Smile and I intend keeping it so that must make me a collector of a Webley

You have a specific gun - a Webley - and you're intention is to acquire another one - why? - simply because it's a Webley - so yes, that's a collector's impulse at work.

Hi ,
am new here , living in England , I get to see a lot of old airguns - not as many as used to be out there but like like all collectors - you can never have too many .... Very Happy

I have some boxed Webley pistols , and some Services .
I like the older BSA rifles , Standards , Improved , D's , Light . and they still make good shooting guns .

Welcome aboard, Webley owners!

Anyone around here own any of the "new" Webley guns since they had that ownership change and moved production to Turkey? If so, how are these "new" guns- are they worth the money?

Eric,

I have a Patriot and have a friend over on the coast that
has a Patriot and we were comparing them last summer.
There is a noticeable difference in quality when they are
placed side by side. Especially in the bluing. His is way
rougher when cocking and was still smoking after 500 shots.
Mine quit after 200. It wouldn't be fair to compare discharge
cycles though because his is coil spring and mine is gas spring.
His twists to the right when discharged and mine recoils stright
back. I personally would not acquire a Turkish gun.
