A couple of extraneous bits I saw today:
I saw a Hammerli X2 in the bargain cave at Cabela's - it's a Mendoza. Same "swoop" in the stock at the butt, same front sight shield, same trigger, same safety, same compression tube end cap. same pin for a barrel pivot. No Mendoza logo, but stamped "made in Mexico" - has to be a Mendoza. Stay away.

I also saw a tin of .22, domed, 22 grain, Gamo TS-22 pellets. On the blister pack it said "Increase power and distance of your airgun up to 20%." That might be possible with a PCP gun, but I'm a little confused about how that's going to work in a spring or CO2 gun:

On the Gamo USA site it says: "Each pellet type is tested through actual firing of random lot samplings. If a lot groups outside of 7/8" of an inch at 10 or 25 meters the entire lot is discarded." 7/8" at 10m is pretty poor, and at 25m isn't all that great - but which is it?

Then there are Gamo Glow Fire pellets - ballistic tipped with glow-in-the-dark plastic. This is something I would like to try - who cares if they are accurate; if they work the coolness factor is right up there. In a slow gun like my Marksman 2004 they might be a lot of fun - tracers for an airgun:
