Hi Every one
I am new to the forum and to air rifle.
I just got a benjamin classic 22 and look to do the piston mod ( quest, phantom 1000)
But before I go ahead and order the part. I was wondering if it would be possible and worth a try to mod the benjamin classic 22 with the benjamin super streak parts as these two rifle look exactly the same exept for a longer barrel.
Anyone have look to this yet?
By the way I could't find the parts diagram for these two riffle, they are not list on the crosman web site.
Anyone have found it? |

| There are almost no interchangeable parts between the two- completely different platforms. |

The Benjamin Classic is B18/19 based rifle (Look at Quest/Phantom for parts diagram - mostly the same parts as the Quest except stock of course and the trigger guard is metal on the Classic), the Super Streak is B20 based and as Eric said completely different platform. True they "look" very similar in separate photos, but if you see them side by side the SS is much heftier than the Classic as it should be. The Classic is a Canadian Non-PAL (<500 fps) .22 rifle. The SS is a full power beast available in either .177 or .22 calibres, and costs about the same as the Classic. I have a Classic and the first tune I reccomend is the "Gamo trigger tune", makes a big difference to the performace of this rifle. My groups shrank from 2" to 0.5" at 25 yards. |
