I was going to mention this the other day when I bought my scuba tank, but I was just too excited that I'm getting closer to playing with my discovery that I forgot all about it.

Got to scuba shop, and guy looked it over. We talked for a few minutes and such, then he filled it for me. But then told me that from now on, I need to some how mark it or have some type of label on it that this will be use for air guns only. And that technically he's only sappose to be filling tanks for certified scuba divers and not for air guns or paintball guys.

Well, you don't have to tell him anything. It's the same air isn't it?

My dive shop had me sign a release. I don't have any sticker stateing for airgun use. I would check around for another air source such dive shops or paintball shops that will do air fills or better yet I myself want to get an 3 stage compressor hopefully in the future. Too rich compressors are right now for my blood. Good luck to ya. The only sticker on my used tank I bought are the Dive shop Visual and the hydro static check as well as the tank mfg.

Basically what this guy is saying is if I could get a crosman or benjamine, or any other label and slap that on tank. I said I'd just mark it it perminante marker..."air gun use only" . Further more, he said that I shouldn't be offended if one of the other guys asked to see my certification (dive), before filling. And that I just needed to explain what I'm using it for.

My dive shop does the same thing. They have the stickers for a couple of bucks. According to them, it also exempts you from the yearly visual inspection. Not the 5 year hydro though. Anyway, mine just says "not for breathing air"

I need to order a cap to cover the fill inlet on my discovery. When I do, I'm going to ask if they have any stickers or such I can get.
