Well, I've had the EJ 16.1's for over a week now and they have become my new favorite pellet (which previously was the CPH 10.5's). I wanted to achieve at least 900 fps and was hoping to accomplish this without making to many changes from my 10.5 setup (which was basically how I recieved it from A.O.A.). Unfortunately, this wasn't the case and It required some significant changes but 900 was eventually obtained. The new settings are 4 1/2 in on the spring tension, 1 3/4 in on the stroke and 4 out on the metering screw @ 2650 fill. This was netting me 900-910 fps which equals 29 fpe. The 29 fpe has proven deadly at 15 yds with thru & thru shots (on the nutters) and thru the 1/2" wooden picket fence. |

I can't wait for spring so I can get some long distance testing in, but I think they're flying fairly true to at least the 35-38 yd mark. with just 21 clicks down on the elevation they seem to be hitting the mark. Can't wait to report back with the 50+ yd results. Thanks. Steve |
