If not recomment a scope for around 50.00 that will withstand the double recoil. |

It should say if it is springer rated, if on Pyramyd Air. All Leapers and Centerpoint are springer rated. NOT all scopes on the site are. |

Leapers recently started labeling all their scopes as "TS" or "True Strength" models (their marketing, the term means nothing beyond Leapers use of it) which they claim is good for springers.
Not that I fully believe them. Their largest distributor/seller is PyramydAir- and Leapers has the all-too-common "Tom Gaylord approved" thing going on (Gaylord is, for all intents and purposes, an employee of PyramydAir these days).
I think a good question to Pyramyd would be "how long do YOU handle warranty claims on Leapers products?" PA has proven they do fix problems- Leapers itself, not so much. So, if Pyramyd says they will handle the Leapers warranty for the life of the product, or at least some extended period of time- great. If they do not and someone is forced to send a scope back to Leapers for warranty service, I would not be so comfortable based on what I have heard of, and seen from them. |
