I'm new to airguns, so a bit uneducated on all the connectors and adapters possible.

I picked up a Crosman 1077 with the Airsource adapter, for 88g disposable canisters. This seems better than 12g, but still wasteful.

Is there a hose or adapter fitting that would allow me to connect a refillable tank to the female connector on the crosman adapter where the 88g tank would sit?

As will mostly use this in my basement I don't mind being tethered to a tank as long as I can use it standing as well as prone.

Doe the paintball tanks make sense or would something larger be possible?

thanks

You can fabricate your own with not much more than a drill press, hacksaw and a couple taps: http://www.airgunhome.com/agforum/viewtopic.php?t=1737&highlight=1077+bulk

I'm an "economical" guy, however, so maybe that solution isn't for everyone...

Hmm... maybe if someone has a way to beltfeed pellets...

So, is there no hose fixture that resembles the 88g tank? I was hoping to do it with just a hose and a new adapter on it.

I don't recall anyone making such a fitting, unfortunately. However, it might be an idea- if you could make one up, perhaps there are a few customers for it out there (it could/would also work with some other AS-equipped guns I would expect).
