I have UNKNOWN manufacturer break barrel pistol.....main spring broke , I need a replcement..I've surfed for air rifle springs, maccari springs and several others....no success....Prefer a new one, but will take a used one if I have to...here's the info on the broken spring
19 coils
wire diameter .075
out of gun (uncompressed length) 5.55 inches
coil diameter 0.79
bought gun yesterday at a tent sale, they're gone to who knows where..was fun til it broke, just wanna get it up and running for goofing around..only gave $20.00 for it NIB . A spring, links to springs, or any information about springs is greatly appreciated.

You might be able to order a similar spring from century. http://www.centuryspring.com/ they have tons of "stock" springs. prices for small amounts may be a little expensive.

if you can't find the right one you could always try to make it yourself.

.075" is rather large wire diameter though, so you probably would need a lathe to do it, but you might be able to wind it around some all-thread rod on a drill press...maybe.

Buy any spring you can find with the same coil diameter (inner and outer) and wire thickness, but it could be longer- you can cut it down bit-by-bit, file it flat and keep repeating until it 'sets' and fits the gun.

Thanks for the link...if I don't find one that will work, it goes in the trash..Not gonna spend much time on it, and even less money!
