I own two mrods and 2 disco's they are in 177 an 22 cal. Looks like on the Katana only difference is mrod stock and trigger. Also 100.00 less in retail than mrod. My question is why not some type of sound modifyer at muzzle? I can live with single-shot. Sure would be nice to have as mrod a more silent rifle that is stock or factory made!!!!!

The Katana is a PyramydAir-only item. It is, other than the trigger and stock, a Discovery- not a Marauder.

Ask PyramydAir why it doesn't have certain features- I wonder why Pyramyd thought it needed its own "house version" Benjamin (?)

What he said Eric is correct here...for $100 more you get multi-shot capability,a rifle you can adjust to your preferences, and a larger air reservoir, not to mention the barrel shroud.Hey I love my Disco..don't get me wrong,I can always mod it if I choose, but I don't really see the value of the Katana?By the way....what's up with that funky a$$ trigger guard? It makes the gun look sort of well.....cheesy.Shrug Huh?

Hey it may be py-air only as you say . Still it is mfg by crosman. It isn't worth the money. Just go to m-rod and be done with it.
More silent rifle
Multi shot mag
Choked barrel
m-rod one hell of a rifle period.

Hey, I'm not disagreeing with anyone- why buy a Disco with a slightly nicer stock, when the Marauder is only $100.00 more?

I can't figure why PA would have a custom-"Disco" done for them at such an increased price (?!?)

They should come up with a way for custom stocks on the Mrod.

Have you guys seen the posts on the yellow forum?

I see what you are saying Eric! I think py-air does such airgun vol in sales and supplies more of a niceness deal between crosman and them- py air that is. Don't take me wrong I love my Disco's as well. M-rod just a little more refined as far as goodie or extra's. It would of been at least a bonus if this new model of an old mod Disco would of at least had a sound moderator at the muzzle like others such as Gammo etc. I mean more options keep folks coming back for more if ya know what I mean. Spend spend spend name of the game!!!!
Thumbs!!!!! Smile Smile Smile

You are right on with that Sniper. It sure is strange I have shot center fires such as TC's with adj set triggers and shot non -adj triggers to boot. Some rifles or guns are a loss for words as far as how they perform or shoot. I shhot my m-rod with its sweet trigger than shoot my disco I like'em both for some crazy reason. I guess hunting for alot of yrs the disco's stock harder trigger pull in comparrison to m-rod nice trigger handles the application well for takink game etc....... I know enough of the BS!!!!!! Mr. Green Mr. Green Mr. Green PS having to much fun!!!!!I know" Shut up Dave" Faq-U That ones for myself by the way!!!!
