eh- society's f-ups. Let's see, gang member, numerous charges for battery, drug-related issues and multiple DUIs. Seems he won't likely be missed by many.

Its just soo sad that they had to shoot him and end his life. When our tax dollars could have clothed and fed him for the rest of his life, get medical and dental for free (to him not us) and could have studied the legal system in libraries that should have nothing more than comic books on the shelves ( chip and dale, archie comics) to find a loop hole to be able to get back on the streets and do all he could to push our society just a little bit farther down the sh!tter! Shocked Have a good one H

dude the police station is less than 1/2 mile away.
on the nearest corner is the 7-11 the cops hang out at. Rolling Eyes

we stopped at the scene today. the blood looks like it was bleached(there's quite a bit). a bunch of graffiti is written of the "f#ck the police"
variety on the sidewalk. the shrine is now decked out with colt 45 and OE 800 bottles. Rolling Eyes

my wife totally freaked with the feeling of "bad juju" so we left. imagine the negativity and apparitions to be seen there at 3 am. Shocked

kinda eerie though with all the blood. Shocked

now that poor cop (hero) will have a bounty on his head from the gang. Evil or Very Mad

Yeah....what I find rather disturbing is the lack of culpability the Parole dept.is showing. It's like hey I don't want to loose my job,so I will attempt to "Weasel" out of accepting the fact that I f---ed up.I don't buy the excuses, and I don't think many people do.Waiting to get a warrant....yeah right. They don't need a warrant if someone is on Parole, since they still are custody of the State, and don't have their rights restored.Okay cool so you don't want to go arrest a Parole violator alone.......bring the POLICE!It's just people being lazy, and trying to justify blowing smoke up our asses. This was a bad situation fore sure.....but think of how bad it could have been.I'll shut up now......I have a tendency to get BENT over things like this. I hope the score is cops:2, but let's not forget cops aren't the best thing since sliced bread.

My family has been in the same town for the past 40 years and knows the current police force... well... they can party MUCH harder than you can *wipes white powder from nose*.

Maybe that's why the cops never get called when I openly walk around with a rifle (they don't know its an airgun). Wink

I agree with you fritz. Many people don't understand what the life of a cop is all about. What I mean is that there is the difference of public perception, and the way it really is.

I was raised in a military, and police family, and can tell you first hand that some of the most dangerous people in society wear a badge. My father was a cop for 30 years,in Washington,L.A,and San Francisco.I wanted to be one as well growing up,as it was sort of expected. For a while I was a cop at a local College, and was getting ready to go through the Academy.I decided that it wasn't for me.You kind of have this expectation that you are there to protect, and serve. However, when you actually see how it goes down behind the scenes....well I had to make a choice that I could live with.

Let's just say that the code among cops is very real.I saw first hand what happens when you go against that code.I won't go into detail...but here is what happens. The law says that if you witness a criminal act committed by say another cop, such as your partner etc.You are bound to report that crime,as you yourself can be charged with a felony if it is found out.

Now here is what really goes down.....when this is actually done, that officer goes out on a potentially dangerous call...mysteriously backup shows a-little late,if at all.The point being is that there are good cops, and there are cops that are just as dangerous as any criminal in existence. In fact you could call it being a State mandated criminal. That is why I'm not a cop.You have to give a thumbs up to good cops though that don't let that sh!t get to them, like it did me.That being said...I myself am not really fond of a-lot of cops that I have worked with, but they are necessary. What I detest more however are the little-bastard wanna be gang bangers. They should be in my opinion strung up by the nuts in full public view.It may sound cold, but It would make a nice visual impact......
