I've considered it for a while now, and I am glad to announce that during the following couple of months, I will be saving for a Used Haenel 310.

The Haenel 310 is a repeating rifle that is often seen at carnivals. The action started of as a training system for a bolt action rifle. The "Sport Modell 33" is build to represent the K-98, as you can see from the following pictures.

These happen to be questionably legal, and can cost up to 400-500 euro's. A bit expensive. Thank Haenel for making the 49A and the 310.

Quite the same, the 310 is (if I recall well) a newer version that is quite similar to the 49A. All these rifles use a magazine, and after each shot, you perform the same repeating action as on an old fashioned repeating firearm.

This all being said, the Haenel rifles are mostly build for close range shooting like at the carnival. Up to 15 meters, differing by each model, you can have admirable groups, however I have not tested it yet. One must keep in mind though, this rifle shoots 4.40 BB's, not diabolos. Power can differ from 70 Mps to 130 Mps (recorded a couple of times).

Some people think (I used to think this too) that the Haenel 310 is a BB-gun, however, nothing is further from the truth. The 310 uses air to propel the small balls, trough a tiny little tube, that people of see as a hammer that pushes away at high speed. When fired, the tube releases air, making the Haenel an airgun.

The gun also has some features like on some models automatic safety, or a different stock for better grip.

There is also a Haenel Match Rifle that uses the same cocking mechanism, however, it does not use a magazine. This match rifle fires Diabolos in stead of 4.40 balls.

Hi Broom we used to have Haenel rifles like the one in the bottom photo at our local fair, if I remember right there were 8 guns on the stall all driven by a compressor under the counter, and the balls were loaded into a carboard tube about 20 shots. now they have been replaced with laser rifles which are rubbish.

Broom whats with the pistol ?.
