so i went to my parents old house to meet the inspector (i;m buying it back) and i went into the basement and saw a couple old boxes..... in one of them were some aerosol cans of a product i recall my Mother using on the hardwood floors, called "Scott's Liquid Gold... wood cleaner & preservative"
WOW!!!! i took this home and tried it on the lack luster Super Streak stock... HOLY CRAP!!!! it totally transformed it!!!! it now has the perfect sheen of a hand rubbed oil finish!!!! all in about 5 minutes of spraying, wiping, and buffing!!!! |

It's still made. My wife uses it on a front door that's exposed to the afternoon sun. Really works well. I never thought of using on gunstocks. The Sheridan is up for a refinishing, maybe I should try it on that. |
