I have a 1377 that I'm thinking about converting to 22. If I do that, will it perform as well as a 1322? Is there any difference between the two guns aside from the barels?

Possibly the bolt, breech, and of course the barrel. The innards are identical.

I did such a conversion this year:

My 1322 does 441 fps @ 10 pumps

The 1377 converted to .22 does 463 fps @ 10 pumps

Do you supose the extra velocity is from your better fitting than the factory does or from the extra inches of barrel?
