Is there any benifit from putting a longer barrel on it ...how long .. It came with pistol grip & shoulder stock..thought of turning it in to a carbine style thingy.. I think 18" is too long for a pistol, but even a 14" will give you gains.... I had an 18" on a carbine (with stock) and it balanced nicely with a small muzzle break and looked great.... Of course it you are using iron sights, you will get a longer sighting radius.... I personally don't think longer barrels are inherently any more accurate, any variation just being barrel to barrel.... I'm fineding that a shorter barrel seems to make the gun more accurate...The faster you can get the pellet out of the barrel the less the barrel rise can efect it duering the fireing cycle.. And you can pick up a few FPS aswell....A pellet reachs max velocity in around 9"..And from there barrel drag slows it down.. I should add this is only the case in a springer.... In a PCP/HPA/CO2....yer want the propellent exspantion and barrel length " volume"to be matched....
