Ok so I sold my Falcon Hunter for $100 and a B26-2. I love the B26 because it is an accurate rifle. The guy who traded me also let me keep the Falcon Hunter's scope as the B26 didnt come with one. I want to beef this rifle up wit a more powerful spring. It is the MM tuned version but it is 6 months old according to the previous owner. So my question is does anyone know where to buy a stronger spring for this rifle that would not lose me accuracy. Im looking to take out a family of GHogs livin in the empty lot behind the house but dont feel comfortable doing it with the rifle the way it is right now. Previous owner says gun is shooting around 650 FPS (it's a .22) I would like to get up to 750-800 if possible. Thanks in advance.
Shawn

When the gun was tuned, were washers added to the front or back of the spring? If not, a short washer stack might gain you a little velocity. Just don't add so many that you compress the spring closer than 1/4" to coil bind.

You'll have to measure the coil you already have and use a spring calculator to compare it with potential replacements:

Springs are available here:

A different spring might also ential fitting a new spring guide and tophat.

Thanks slavia I'm going to take her apart sometime this week. Im only lookin for an increase of 50-100 FPS, so hopefully this can be achieved with just a new spring.

mobley,

if it is already tuned the 650fps claim might be low.

mine runs 690/14.3 stock. Idea

The man who sold it to me is a trustworthy guy in my book. I asked for $90 cash and the B26 for the WFH and he gave me $100 so if he says he chronied at 650 i think he is telling the truth. That sounded kinda like i was bein an A-Hole and that was not my intention sniper just didnt know how else to put it.

mobley.... chill!!

just my 2 cents on mine. Rolling Eyes Wink

i know the b-26 can be "hotrodded" to 18 fpe.

it will increase hold sensativity.....

though you liked the falcon hunter so for you might not be a problem.
