For me, the two big ones are the gun is always loaded, and control the muzzle.

For me it is muzzle, and trigger. The two most dangerous things.

99.9% of the time if you don't touch the trigger, the gun won't go off. 99.9% of the time if you don't point the muzzle in the wrong direction, nothing gets destroyed.

There are some major technicalities on the "always loaded" rule. Cleaning, assembling, tuning and such almost always involve pointing the muzzle in some "bad" direction and often pulling the trigger for a dry fire. These things would never be done with a loaded gun.
