ok so here is my trigger mod for the qb78 which could be used for other air guns with relativity wider sears (read not 22xx).
first the trigger as it sits in its housing
next you open up the trigger housing and polish all the contact points on the round sear (the one that engages the hammer). bring it up to a mirror shine, my dremel made quick work of this working right up to the little blue polishing stone and then the felt one and some metal polish.
after your done that you take the other trigger out and angle the contact point that engages the sear to a knife edge, polish it to a mirror shine and your done. what this does is gives a lower amount of surface friction. add to that some molly lube on all contact points (including the pins that hold the parts in place) and you will have a trigger that is as smooth if not smoother then butter

Ah much better to see what you mean now!!
Cheers Leadman and thanks Broom for reminding leadman!
Maybe I will add some arrows to my 'How to separate the stock from the 1077' guide! If you think it needs them!.

The next time anyone will do something like this:
Try to make a before and after picture. That cancels out any mistakes along the line.
I studied to make manuals for 2 years. I quite that study because they teach you to be an a$$hole. Multimedia is much nicer. |

Highlights and arrows are always helpful if someone doesn't have a proper frame of reference!
"5 minutes of cleaning off my monitor" har har har. Circled a few places you shouldn't have before that?
Now that you're done "polishing your trigger", are you satisfied?
-ok, I know, that was probably not appropriate... |

Know that problem. We have a saying in dutch for that, but I don't feel like trying to translate it as it will probably lose it's meaning. |
