Hello, Ive been lurking here since 2008 and finally figured I would contribute some. I am a long time AG and RG user and build spud gun's for a hobby. Ive been looking into building a air rifle using what I have learned in Spud gun's, so expect a thread on that later. My first air rifle was a Crosman Pump master 760. My dad got it for me when I was 9 and Ive had it and used it daily since. Since then I picked up many gun's from a kid down my block(A Crosman 2100, but I am not sure with a huge a$$ scope on it, it came with a gun case, a box full of daisy wad cutter pellets and Crosman Field hunting pellets, as well as a little BB pistol(Feels like junk) and a few air soft guns all for 120$) Good Deal am I right?

As for who I am, I am 22 years old, my actual name is Alucard, I live in SE Michigan, and I own 6 acre's of land(I run my business out of it and shoot there.) Well, I thought It would be nice to make an account and try to contribute to all Ive learned here. I will be glad to work with you all providing you would like my help and contribution's. Smile

Interesting site... Would a Air rifle that fire's 30-06 Bullets(Only the bullets) Using compressed air still be considered an airgun? Because im starting to get the go big or go home personality lol.

Welcome, and yes it would be considered an airgun. As long as the power source is some form of compressed gas (not from burning powder or such...).

Actually in many bigbore airguns the users fire bullets for pistols or muzzle loaders of the same calibers. I don't think anyone has tried (or even made) an airgun designed specifically to shoot burner bullets (like that of a CF cartridge). We on the forum have talked about the theories of using burner specific bullets in airguns- conclusions seem to say it would work.

I have always wanted to build a spud gun, maybe now I'll have some SAFE advice on building one that works.

Just ask and if I know the answer I will give it, I did some reasearch, something tells me im going to be in around 150$ to make a nice Air Rifle that shoots Powder Burner bullets lol.I want to make a genuinely nice gun, for the prototype I will probably use a smooth bore barrel, and after I get out the kink's replace it with a rifled one, does anybody think this would dramatically save cost?

A Lothar Walther barrel will cost you about $150. You will have to machine it yourself (or have it done by a gunsmith/machinist, Joe can help you out there).

Let's keep the BS flowing the the BS forum, eh?

I watched Hellsing too, it was certainly an entertaining show, and the main Characters' gun... Mr. Green

Anyway, welcome aboard. Cool Can I derive from your name that you mostly shoot at night? Mr. Green

Correct. Thats because im too busy during the day though lol.

Edit: regarding the Pneumatic Pellet rifle, I made a thread on the forum Spud File's just to see if it was creatable, I posed as a absolute beginner asking random questions about my project, I was basically insulted imo lol. Expect a Thread as im going to make this just to prove a point.

Please don't use soda bottles or anything ghetto around here. Us airgunners DON'T like to get blown up by our own guns... unlike some...
