In your experience, is the quality of Beeman R1 such that its great out of the box (after break in) or do you think it needs a tune to get it working.
After having my first (and only) AG tuned, I can't imagine not having an AG tuned.

I just bought a R1 in 5mm. Just "getting to know it". Fired approx. 200 rounds, it is starting to smooth out.
I put a 4x32 BSA scope on it, love it. I am getting a Chrony next week, that should be interesting.
I sold a couple of firearms to help offset the cost of this gun.
Plan on doing some small game hunting with it later this year.
Did the Super Tune really help that much? Did it just speed up the break in?
Best
