Improvements to Twinmaster Co2 mechanism.
When you put a new Co2 capsule into the Twinmaster loader if you do not get the correct pressure on the adjuster when you close the lid, it will either not piece the capsule or just piece it and leak gas, and once you have closed the lid there is nothing much you can do about it, because even if you open the lid the adjuster is to tight to move with your fingers.
The lid can be opened up to 45 deg before the capsule starts to release so if you drill some holes in the adjuster and make a short pin to fit, it is possible to adjust capsule with out having to change it for a new one

Now that's a cool little mod. Very clean too- nice.
But let me ask- do 12g caplets have such a difference in dimensions (i.e. distance from bulb bottom to the flat 'land' that is pierced by the pin) that this is a real problem with guns like the Twinmaster?
I guess the answer is obviously 'Yes'- but what happens if you keep the adjustment near the extreme end of tightness all the time? Some caplets get gummed up, or the piercing pin breaks/the caplet jams in gun? |

Hi
Capsule's vary by as much as 25 thou, but the problem with Twinmaster's is that when the lid gets within 20 deg of closing it backs off the capsul by about 10 thou, this is to help keep the lid closed, and that can give you a slight leak. Also the piercing pin is a bit short and it has a large sholder at its base so once you start to close the lid you are commited. It only happens once in a while and this idea saves having to junk a capsul. I hope this makes sense.
