Hi all.
does anyone know anything about tuning an hatsan 44-10 i have just got one and it only putting out 9.15 ft.lb i would like to get it up to full power , i dont want to send it back has i use it every day,any help would be appreciated

What pressure did you fill it to?.... I assume it's a detuned model for the UK.... Perhaps it needs a lower fill pressure to come onto the bell curve?.... just a thought, I've never had one....

Did you try and shoot a complete string.... or did you only fire a few shots and find out the velocity is too low?

Unregulated PCPs start out at a lower velocity at maximum pressure.... then increase to a peak as the pressure drops.... and then decrease again until it needs refilling.... It might be that a 12 FPE rifle (I assume that is what you have).... might only start shooting properly at 160 Bar and then continue down to 80 Bar (for example).... If the gun is detuned from the "normal" (27-30 FPE?) by fitting a lighter hammer spring that is quite possible....
