Thank you Cristi! That is a great link!

The differenence with the project on my blog is that I'm not satisfied with the performance of a simple HPA conversion. I am trying to figure out what modifications (within limitations) will give me the best possible performance.

That link you posted has information that may be useful to me Smile .

Thanks,
DB

That 1250 is sweet! I have been seriously considering
one of those for a while. I've made up my mind, two or three
paydays from now, Im ordering one and another 3200 Elite.

I like Walther. They reek of quality. I have a 9x19mm pistol
made by them and it is sweet.
It sits in the drawer of my night stand right next to my bed. It
would be very unwise to break in to our house.

Nice mod from Phil!

That mod from the ratkill site makes me nervous. The 850 AirMagnum wasn't designed to handle the pressure he is putting through it!

Hi, There is a whole site dedicated to the 850 AM over here:
http://www.network54.com/Index/84463
Look at the top right of the page there is a link to Bryan and Associates, they make and sell and valve end that screws onto the end of your 88g tank that has a pin valve in it, exactly what you want. mail them and find out about shipping though, I know they do ship out your way so it shouldn't be a problem.
Let us know how it goes okay?
Roald.

.. is not really lacking in design. it was designed to use CO2, thus to prevent LIQUID CO2 from entering the system. Of course when the pin and filter are removed you'll get greater flow. There is another guy doing mods on the valve for CO2 and HPA. These guys have broken a lot of ground on this gun:
http://www.network54.com/Index/84463
and more stuff:

Good luck!

does anyone know if all 9oz paintball tanks have the same thread?

i`ve ordered an adapter for my 850 so that it can take a 9oz tank, now i`m wondering if the threads on these tanks are all the same?

also i`ve seen aluminium and steel 9oz paintball tanks, which would be my best bet and why?

sorry about all the questions, paintball/Co2 air gun mods are not big down here in oz!!
