Hello all; been lurking for a few days reading the post and trying to find answers to my questions. Thought I'd join in officially. Very few to ARs; got a Gamo Shadow about 2 years ago because it was on sale and I had nothing else to buy with my Rewards points.
The reason can looking for an AR forum was 2 fold: first I am about to take a Hacksaw to my Gamo and second looking to join up with fellow AR'er and learn and join the company of like minded shooters. I'll do some more searching and looking before I start asking questions. All ready thinking about sending my Shadow for a Tune Job.. but than again maybe I should just buy a target rifle to start with for indoor shooting. |

Before I spend another $ (well I really didn't spend anything in a sense) I am going to do a lot of reading and research on the subject of AG'ing.
It already seems that my Gamo will not be accepted in all of the area indoor leagues due to the fps. So I need to decide if I am going to track towards the indoor leagues or even be as bold to try to start a HFT league in my area.
For the indoor league shooting I a leaning towards the Air Force Edge (OK I know it is not even out on the market yet). But it look really COOL
Get forum; I am glad I found it. I lurked on several others and it just didn't seem right .. this one seem like it is a bit more lively. |

The Air-Force Edge is the gun that got me back into airgunning! I had one on order for months. Everytime I called it was "2 more weeks" this went on for months and that was a year ago and they still aren't out yet. What a rip! There are pleanty of 10 meter guns that are cooler looking like the Fienwerkbau P-70 or Styer etc. etc. but way more $. I decided to go 20 fpe and got the FX Typhoon and found field target. I like it so much I got a USFT from Mac-1. Expensive but way cooler. It is #198 and I like it so much that I got some Mammoth Tusk Ivory grips for it! I will be shooting it in it's first field target match this Sunday at TBA. |

| AirIndy, A quick look on the AAFTA web site shows two FT clubs in your area! MCFG (Marion County Fish and Game) is a member of the national organization as is ARFTRCC (Air Rifle Field Target Riley Conservation Club) Go to thier web sites or call them to get a next match date and go have some fun! Field Target is great! |

Thanks for the research. I am a member of MCFG and we stopped doing Field Target this year. Match Director wasn't sure if it would start back up. I guess not enough interest at the club. |
