if i still lived in Slidell, i'd say "bring it up".
they are not to difficult.

Like TONBON said, what's the issue?
I've had my P17 (chinese made P3) apart twice for a bad trigger and worn o-rings. Next it went south I put it up on a shelf. Maybe one day I'll try to find replacement parts made in the German plant.
My P3 has been fine except that the loading port on the barrel seems a little too snug. (It's for sale by the way )

Bean, i knew someone from Bel Air.
Whats the prob w/ yours?
they are easy to fix. not many parts. easy to file or rebuild(from over filing).  |

Bel Air isn't a bad place unless you like guns.... Running out of places to shoot, fast.... I've seen at least 2 large pieces of land (1 a farm) fall to the developers this month. Or at least the zoning change request signs went up...
P3 is fine so far. P17 is resting.... Just keeps notching the orings. The trigger interaction with part 2453k (from your schematic) is also problematic but that's a lesser issue. I think it just needs a better polishing around the air inlet and a good cleaning and relube, and new orings of course.... |

As I open the action, I can hear a release of air just as it opens fully.
As I close it, about two inches before it's fully closed, it makes this loud click-crack sound.

Is it possible that what you hear is not the release of air, but rather air entering through the port on the underside of the cylinder?

Does the sound come from the upper part of the gun (i.e., the three pivot points), or does it come from inside the grip? |
