| I can not get a good group with it.. I have a benjamin 392 and man does it twitch. Whenever im propped up it always twitches to the left or right. Is it me? I have thought about giving it a trigger tune. That might be it. Or it could be the gun. Anyone else have similar problems and oppinions are much appreciated |

How long have you had it? If you are still under the thousand round mark, don't worry about it and just have fun with stuff you can knock over. That thousand round mark is a figure to break in the shooter as well as the gun.
If you are still having problems after that, then talk to yourdaddyjoe or one of the other guys about a tune. |

What do you mean by "twitch? It should'nt have recoil or nothing like that.
I a have scoped 397 and it seems to hit pretty accurate.I've shot black walnuts out a tree 100' away.I tried shooting at the paper target yesterday a few times, but I HATE the trigger pull now that I've been shooting my Beeman R9.
How do you get a pump air rifle tuned? |

The only thing that would cause a 392 to "twich" upon being shot is the trigger. If it breaks hard, then you may be flinching at the last second.
The simple way to test this is to wrap the end of the trigger in some tape until you have added a little more "beef" to it. That will spread the weight of the trigger over more nerve endings in your finger. It won't actually make it lighter, but it should feel smoother. If this helps your groups, the easiest fix would be to add a trigger shoe onto it. It will do the same thing as the tape but look better. Then you can save up to get a trigger job on it.
The trigger will usually smooth out over time too. Just remember the "BRASS" meathod. Breathe, relax, aim, and squeeze slowly. Then make sure to have a good follow-through. |

The only one that came to my mind was a trigger job.
I did'nt think seals or bolt would have anything to do with accuracy.
Now polishing the chamber/barrel I could understand.
What do you mean by reiforced lever?
I made an extention lever for the pump handle so it's easier to pump.
I'll see about seaching some of your posts. |

| the lever has an extra pin so it is more sturdy. accuracy is supposed to be 1/2 inch @ 25 yards. @ 14 pumps this thing kisses 25 fpe with a kodiak! |
