You all know I am crazy...
Here is my latest "CAN KILLER"
Yes that is a "Hinge Trigger Frame" for a paint ball gun... Nice $0.99 + shipping addition... I was told it would never work... ha ha ha...
I know… why a purple double trigger on a single shot pistol??? It was only $.99 on ebay… Besides… It is actually comfortable to shoot single handed… Plus it has an adjustable trigger… I am getting better trigger response and it has a lighter trigger pull…
Being made from billet aluminum… This baby has some heft to it… and it came with two position rubber contoured grips… It balances out nice with the 20” barrel…
Also… if I want to bulk the gun… the grip is already drilled and tapped for a duck bill ASA mount… or a bench pad for the bottom of the grip...
It got too dark too fast for me to crony it… But it is a can shreder... and I still have not moded the valve or TX port...
Here is the list to make it work...
First and foremost... a new hammer... The original Trigger Group for that thing-ama-bob that releases the hammer is in a different location… I chose brass to add some hammer weight…
Second… I had to contour the frame to match the gas tube…
The pivot point on the double trigger needed a little contour as well to clear the gas tube…
Drill and tap a new hole in the gas tube for the front screw… The screws that came with this one are 10-32… so I also re-drilled and tapped the hammer spring plug to match…
Next on the list is some nice open sights, power adjuster, mod the valve and Yes… I will strip the purple and have it anodized black… Although… It changes color in different light… Hummmmm... maybe I will make some matching parts for the purple... |

| That's pretty crazy looking. Hate the purple but the idea is cool. How's the trigger on those things? I am totally unfamiliar with paintball stuff. |

Zoned,
The trigger is much more comfortable than the stock one... The action is smoother and I found a chromed one for $20 with a single trigger... so I orderd it... It is coming from your neck of the woods, so it should be here in a day or two...
I wish I had a small pull scale to measure the trigger pull...
broommaster2000,
I think so...
kanyon,
It came purple... I have not seen a green hinged frame... |

Wow! A three finger trigger. It would have way better control
if you cut it down to a one finger unit. That's what we did to my
cousin's. You will have a lot better control with all but one finger
steadying the gun. Paintball triggers are designed for speed more
than pin point accuracy. Of course, if pinpoint accuracy is not
your goal, then it would be fine.
And I concur with zoned about the purple. Everyone in mountain
biking went through the purple anodizing faze. Now everyone is
very glad that it is gone. |

| Purple is a bit of an eighties color, isn't it? |

Slavia just sent me a PM... If I make a HPA version... northerners can shoot it with gloves on...
BTW... the photos are with the grips in the high positon... they can be moved down for single finger trigger shooting... |

Wow, it suddenly got a whole lot more interesting.
Big chance it'll fit under a Disco too, then. |

Sure Broom,
I could butcher your disco.... With the proper tools and some imagination... I would have to fire up the chain saw to mod the stock... |
