I just got a beeman rs2 dual caliber rifle today and after a few hours, the safety on the trigger has become extremely sensitive. Just the slightest bump will cause it to engage. Even releasing the trigger will do it. Is there any way I can fix this myself?

that rifle has an automatic safety, it engages every time you fire it, i dont think that can be adjusted or disabled without disabling the safety completely.

Same gun, same problem. Try holding it in the fire position for a 2 count, then release. Works for me.

I just exchanged the gun and got one with a more solid safety. I think it would have been usable but I just didn't want to have to deal with the safety being unpredictable.
