my fill adapter just arrived for my scuba tank. and was wondering how many number of fills i can expect to get.
the tank is 3000psi 80cubic foot, the gun has a 400cc 3000psi bottle.
i'm sure that theres an equation that would tell me, but my memory is failing right now. |

| You would get no full fills. You need a 3300 psi or higher tank. |

Depressing but very true. After stressing over the extra money for a 4500psi CF tank I realized that if I keep shooting at my current rate I'd be filling an 80cu 3000psi tank an awful lot more often. It's not just the fill cost, but lugging the tank to the dive shop etc. If I keep at this, I'll make up the difference in price eventually. Still a lot of coin to shell out up front though... |

oh well, guess i should have researched this purchase bit more than i did. i guess i can at least use it to fill the disco several times.
thanks for the link to that calculator...if i drop my fill pressure on the logun down to 2800psi.... i'll get 4 fills. |

| yea ive been using the pump that came with my discovery. its not too bad using it..... just wanted something a tad more convenient. and even in STL, theres a dive shop less than 10 minutes from my house. not to mention all the dive shops here in florida |
