Google won't give me anything. Now, removing that chunk of metal from the barrel probably takes heating, or cooling one of the parts, it's locked in there pretty darn tight. Why do you want to remove it? If you want to try a different barrel, you're much better of with buying a new one with receiver. _________________ BIG GAP   Posted: Fri Nov 28, 2008 8:33 am AirGunEric Site Admin Joined: 20 Jan 2007 Posts: 6929 Location: "Out There" To remove the barrel and the barrel block without removing the barrel from it (which is what Broom is describing)- it is just attached to the receiver/tube by a cross bolt. You need to remove the cocking arm (which will involve removing the crosspin holding it in place), then the bolt/pin that goes through the block and receiver and the barrel w/receiver will fall right out. _________________ ` I'd say "I care." Changed out the .177 t a .22 cal barrel. It is a piece of cake other than the E Clip on the cocking lever pin is a pain in the butt as the area around it is not much wider than the clip. I used an old knife blade and it popped right out. The hinge pin is pretty straight forward. Unscrew it, slide out the screw and remove nut. Gently tap out the sleeve with a soft punch and hammer and be careful as there are washer/shims that are on either side as well. Good luck!! I am guessing the above is what you are looking for as Umarex sold me the barrel with block/breech attached when I asked for a replacement barrel. To the best of my knowledge you cannot get just the barrel and no block/breech. _________________ RWS Model 36 .177 cal. soon to be .22 cal.!!
