while packing and doing inventory, i got to thinking...... how many of the 2260 parts swap out with discovery parts? mainly looking at putting a different breach and bolt on it. i know i cant be the only disco owner on here, any tips or tricks to share about this rifle would be appreciated.

| one other question.... has anyone shot the disco on CO2?? i just ordered the degasser tool and the adapter, i'm hoping that it will quiet the gun down a bit. the area we will be living in in STL, i need to be as quiet as possible. |

| I don't own a Discovery, but I deal in parts for them here and there. The Discovery part numbers are mainly "1761-xxx" but the barrels are part numbers 1760SE-001 and 2260SE-001- which certainly seems to be pretty close to the 1760 and 2260 part numbers. A couple of people I am aware of have installed Discovery valves in 22xx guns- so it appears there is some parts interchangeability. Will a 22xx breech work? I don't know- I bet the barrel will fit it, but will modifications be required to mount it to the tube? |
