Which ones are your favorites???. I have two guns in 177, a 440 hunter and a p5 pistol. I have tons of pellets but all are of the cheaper variety. Not to say they are bad but I'm sure there are some prefered brands and makes. Both guns will be used for both puching paper and pest control. I am looking for a list of a few different pellets to try so I can see what kind of accuracy these guns are capable of. Thanks

Superdomes work pretty good in my Airmagnum. Barakuda Extra Heavies for my Dianer. My Crosman isn't pellet fussy, allthough I haven't tried hard with my new BSA barrel, At least I think it is. Mr. Green My Slavia works well at 10 meters with Geco's. Longer distances with JSB Exacts 4.50.

I've had good luck in most of my guns with Superdomes outdoors and Meisterkugeln's (8.2 grain) indoors.

RWS (Dynamit Nobel) make good pellets- you can get a "sampler" of different things: http://www.umarexusa.com/detail.aspx?ID=188

Shop around though, I don't know that buying direct from UmarexUSA is necessarily the cheapest option.

As for paper punching I can't help yer.."yarn"
But pest control/hunting thats a diffrent story
as your guns are 1.77 and have limited energy
your best choice would be Preditors.
The other day I was in the back yard killing cans
with a 1.77 600fps gun and there were a few starlings
hanging around. I took a couple of shots at them with Pro mags
hit them but they flu away so I got a few preditors and
droped 4 stone cold dead.

Be carefull dealing with crooked shooters (straightshooters).
You could get burnt.

depending on the gun i'm using, i like the Predators, Gamo Hunters, and Benjimin Discovery PCP hollow points. although, since the Predators are the most expensive, i tend to reserve those for hunting or rat control, while the others are used for tin can massacres.
