I already found it mouth dropping that Sparrows are actually protected here.
I hope that I'll be able to smuggle in a cage full of sparrows next year. |

Sparrows are protected there? You guys must be hard pressed for wildlife.
I wish I was able to shoot more here, but there are not as many in my area as I'd like there to be. |

You must be doing a great job Roger to have so little of a sparow population... |

Viva pest control. You should move up here. There is so much
wildlife here, that they pay you to shoot some of it. Some I shoot
just for sport. Like the huge river rats that come up from the
Cle Elum and Teanaway rivers to feed at the granaries at night. |

| That's all I ever looked at it as....just thinning the herd a little. |

Well, The Netherlands aren't that big, and they're pretty wild about wildlife, or what's left of it. Sparrows were almost extinct a few years ago. It caused other more exotic birds to flourish, though "the people" thought that boring little turds with wings are cuter to look at when compared to these guys:

Hunting is something you need to "go to school" for, and it's not easy at all, that hunting school.
If I ever get myself a piece of land with a house on it, away from civilisation... |
