...and 35 minutes later it rained, the wind blew and dried it.
Then my wife comes home an hour later and the first thing
that she says is "How come you didn't wash your car after
you returned from shooting" and gave me that look. You know the
look. Like I had been slacking all day.

If you had a paint job like mine you wouldn't get those comments.

The dirt keeps the paint on.

WOW! I did not realize that was yours. What happened?

You should acquired a German auto. You wouldn't have that problem.

I've noticed quite a few Chrysler Corp. vans from '95 and '96 that look the same way. It looks to me like the paint didn't bond to the primer.

As for German engineering - I've been saving up for a Yugo or a Lada.

Wash your car! That's what the rain is for!

I'm terrible at that- I should've washed my car two weeks ago and changed the oil 1000 miles ago. There was a time when all I did was fix my cars, find new "projects" and get dirty an awful lot. Now I'm older and my knuckles hurt all the time and I'm tired of bleeding when I get too close to a set of wrenches! Mr. Green

I got tired of EVERYTHING in the world making spots on my car. No matter where I park there is always a sprinkler that seems to be turned more towards the street or driveway rather than at anything that actually requires water. So I come out and one side of my car looks like it had a speckle fest all over it. Although I have to admit that bird droppings aren't as much of a problem as they used to be. Uzi Shooting
