1) Target to download and print: Week 46; Jul/28>Aug/6/2008
Print to full-size on an A4 or 8.5"x11" sheet of paper.
2) Shooting distance is 5m/16.4ft for pistols.
3) Shooting distance is 10m/32.8ft for rifles.
4) Any sighting device may be used.
5) NO rests or steadying aids are allowed.
6) 20 shots at targets, 2 per gold line maximum. 5 sighting/practice shots not on the clock using center 'X'.
7) 15 minutes total time (take whatever amount of time for each shot you like, but at 15 minutes-stop!).
8) Scoring is 1 points for green, 2 points for orange, 10 points for gold and no points for black or white. Only two hits per gold line counts. Maximum point count is 200.
9) Entries need to be scanned or photographed and posted. Please list gun, pellet, sighting device and total time expended.
10) You can enter using both a pistol and a rifle as separate entries- but all rules must be followed for each.
11) Score your own target. Winner and Runner-Up will be verified by board officials.
12) An honorable contest for sport - lie or cheat, the only real loser. Please keep it above-board!
13) Each competition runs from Monday to Sunday. Your entry must be posted in the forum no later than 23:00 GMT Sunday.
14) These rules are for this week's shooting competition and may change for others. |

Bad week this week, started well then a silencer baffel came loose and cocked things up.

OK- I suck!
Gun: Umarex/Walther Lever Action, detuned to under 500fps (testing for customer) 8-shot repeater
Open sights
Kovohute CZ-Diabolo Standard Domed pellets.
Turns out I need new glasses- all I could see at 20m was the paper and a vague dark rectangle.
Time: 8 minutes
Score: 9 out of 200! 
-and yes, I finally decided to use a color image- turns out that was a waste of time!  |
