Hey Everyone!
I'm new to this site and and very gratefull I found it. I have a gecado mod. 75 made in germany and I'm looking for an exploded version of the gun for maintenance reasons. It's a great air rifle that has not seen any tlc in quite some time. If anybody has any helpful information it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Lee

Hi Lee,

Gecado is a marketing name formerly used by Mayer & Grammelspacher. Gecado models are identical to Original and Diana. Nowadays, M&G use only the Diana name. The Model 75 is a recoiless target rifle. There are two pistons which travel in opposite directions thus canceling out any recoil. The rear facing piston does not provide power, just balance. It is a modest power air rifle, being purpose built for target shooting. I recently rebuilt a Diana Model 6 pistol which has the same recoiless system - known as a modified Giss Contra-piston. It's not a good rifle to begin working on due to the complexity. You need ten fingers on each hand if you do not have custom built tooling. Maintenance like oiling pivots and greasing springs is no problem, but send it back to Umarex if it needs any work on the entrails. Whatever you do, do not insert oil down the transfer port, it rots the seals on the forward piston. For major servicing, Contact: Glenn Seiter at:

Good luck, good quality rifle. MarcDV.

The model 75 is not that old, apparently the last one to roll off the assembly line was in 1999. Not a rifle that has held it's value very well, however. It appears that it listed at around $1800.00 USD but even in mind condition today is worth somewhere around $800.00. Not sure what that might be indicative of, hopefully not it's quality.

Here is a teardown guide:

Here's a copy of it's diagram for reference:
