| I've never shot an SLR98- but I like that magazine loading system for an underlever. The 'available' 10-year warranty sounds pretty good too... |

From what I've heard, Theobens are great, but the people I spoke with about airguns in General, mostly thing that they're to expensive.
I heard someone claiming that an Air Arms Pro Sport is the best Springer on the market. |

Thanks for the replies, I posted this question on one of the english forums,and yes it was said that there expensive, compared to single shots, specifically the theoben evolution. But no one else makes a mag feed springer or gas ram, so then that`s what they cost. As far as the Prosport goes I`ve never seen one, but I have A TX 200 and if that`s anything like a Prosport then it`s as good as it gits. TX will shoot Kodiaks at 835fps that`s a 16pd gun and will shoot almost 1/4 in, at 35 yds 5 shot groups on a regular basis if I do my part, I know it will out shoot me.  |

I think the Pro Sport is something special. I shot one, and they're pretty sexy for a springer. Feels pretty good too.
It's an underlever, but the lever is hidden in the stock. It adds up to a nice design, even though I don't really have much interest in springers of that money, and I think underlevers are a bit annoying. This one though, isn't front heavy like a lot of underlevers. |

| ...popularity or what I call "keeper' factor is to look at all the Sale posts. You will see a lot of the same style guns for sale. You WON'T see the really good ones or if you do they get snapped up in an hour! |

I don't thinks that's true. I see some really good rifles for sale a lot, because there are people who seem to have money left, but then they find that they don't and they end up selling a really high end gun.
This is also why you can sometimes find great rifles for absolutely ridiculous prices. A month or two ago, I saw a Daystate Harrier for $ 600 Dollar. I'm not sure on what a new Daystate costs, but I'm sure that's something like $ 1200.
The reason why the price was so low is that the guy kept going down because he was quite eager to sell it, and since he owned another great PCP he didn't need the Daystate that much, or the money.
