1) Target to download and print: Week 31; Apr/07>Apr/13/2008

Print to full-size on an A4 or 8.5"x11" sheet of paper.
2) Shooting distance is 5m/16.4ft for pistols.
3) Shooting distance is 10m/32.8ft for rifles.
4) Any sighting device may be used.
5) NO rests or steadying aids are allowed.
6) 20 shots at targets, 2 per red. 5 sighting/practice shots not on the clock using blue.
7) 15 minutes total time (take whatever amount of time for each shot you like, but at 15 minutes-stop!).
8) Scoring is 10 points for red, 2 points for black and no points for white. Only two hits per ring counts. Maximum point count is 200.
9) Entries need to be scanned or photographed and posted. Please list gun, pellet, sighting device and total time expended.
10) You can enter using both a pistol and a rifle as separate entries- but all rules must be followed for each.
11) Score your own target. Winner and Runner-Up will be verified by board officials.
12) This is an honorable contest for sport- if you lie or cheat, you are the only one who really loses. Please keep it above-board!
13) Each competition runs from Monday to Sunday. Your entry must be posted in the forum no later than 23:00 GMT Sunday.
14) These rules are for this week's shooting competition and may change for others.

May I shoot more than one target----- each with a different pistol?

One entry for rifle and one for pistol! But, you can always shoot the target with different pistols and submit your best result, I think(?). That does seem to be "pushing it" a bit, however.

Thanx!

Daisy Avanty 853c with a Crosman 4x32 scope & Crosman wadcutter.
Standing offhand at 10 meters just under 15 minutes.
My score is 146, I just corrected my score.
The top right corner target is 10 points not 20, after I looked at it again.
Sorry no pretty colors with this old printer that does not even print a page right .
Or may be it is me that does not know how to set it right. Rolling Eyes

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Gamo Compact open sight ,Crosman Wadcutter, standing offhand (2)

Hi guys,
First time shooting with you.
Used: Walther LPM-1 SSP
RWS R-10 pellets
ONE HANDED (didn't know we were allowed 2 hands)
11 minutes
Score 138 ( some of the close ones I checked with a .177 gauge with magnifier)
Score not very good but it was fun!

Just wanted to list guns since I'm one of the new guys on this site.

Air pistols: Rohm Twinmaster P10 (10 meter shooting only) See it on AOA.
Twinmaster Top (silhouette 18 feet indoor)
Walther LPM-1 SSP (silhouette 18 feet indoor, this site)
Crosman 2250B Crooked Barn Custom Williams open sight(silhouette)
Crosman 2240 Crooked Barn Custom conversion to .177 with Walther Bull target barrel/2x Bushnell pistol scope(silhouette)

Air rifles: FWB 300s with Leapers 4x-12x mini-scope (minisniping)
Walther Dominator Aluminum stock FT (minisniping)
Talon SS (.177 and .22) with Leapers 4x-9x mini scope (10 meter silhouette).

Shot NRA Bullseye for many years. Was Maryland State Games Pistol Champion 1991-92. Got busy, had kids had to stop competing. "Discovered" modern airguns last summer been really hooked ever since. If my wife knew what i spend on this sport....!!!!!!!!!!

What a pleasure finding you guys and this site.

All the best!

Ok...Rifle shooting wasn't all steady on my feet tonight but it was nice to do some shooting anyway. Smile

Close to 12 min with the Phantom .22, I really like this rifle since the trigger mode, btw... anyway not my best.

Scored 112/200

Scored 124 with the AR6 & 90 with the Sumatra, so no threat here . . . again Evil or Very Mad

Looks like Mar pulls it off using the 2240 with BBGun Bob close on his heels with the P5 without any winter practice . . . Shocked

Might have to watch out for Bob and his BBGuns real soon, now won't we? Cool
