Well, I did it. I just ordered my first Chinese springer.
It's a .22 caliber BAM XS-B26 with a Leapers 4x32 Bugbuster
scope and mount.
Does anyone here have any experience tuning these?
I only have experience tuning webley springers and
various PCPs.
I plan on not even shooting it once when it arrives, but
instead, taking it completely apart and doing a trigger tune,
debur all, new piston seal, fitted spring guides, tune the
port and an after market spring.
After it's done, and if it's a good shooter, I'll order a grey and
balck laminate stock blank and carve out a thumbhole stock
for it.

| You should of gotten the 26-2 w/ the thumbhole stock already, but anyway's, I've heard nothing but good thing's about this gun, Lot's of good review's that say it's dam'n near if not surpassing anything coming out of Europe in that class of springer. Did you order the .177, or .22 model?, Personally I would of gotten the .22, it would sure make for a good Rabbit gun, Anyway's, I'm lookin' forward to your first sit-rep on the gun's performance, and accuracy. Cheer's, Andy. |

No. I want a grey and black laminate thumbhole.
not the OEM wood thumbhole. The OEM dimensions
are all wrong. Look at how high the cheekpiece is.
I want one fitted to me.

It's hard to read, but the gun is $126.99.

I usually buy only from Pyramyd. I like the
free shipping and they are the best at returning
stuff.

| Deburr, fitted guides, seal and lube; that's all you need. don't fiddle with the transfer port, not much gains and you might ruin a good gun. What are you clocking with what type of pellet? Mine in 177 does 935 fps with Crosman 7.9 premeirs. |
